Text Box: Duke Duke is 5 years old and weighs about 130 pounds.  He stands 27 inches at the shoulder, making him very tall for a Lab.  Duke is the first dog we bought, and he is spoiled rotten!  He absolutely loves to hunt more than anything in the world.  He goes duck hunting every year and has starting dove hunting, as well.  He is great at retrieving birds in the water and on land.  Duke has also helped run and track deer.  Duke loves just seeing the gun or the bow!  He used to go to work with his dad at the scrap yard, but he decided to stay home with his girlfriends instead.  When he did go to work, he would retrieve gloves, tape measures and pens for the employees.  However, as Duke got older, he realized his time would be better spent collecting things of his own interest: ammo boxes, cans and stuffed animals that could be found in old cars.  Despite his size, he is very gentle with puppies and children.  Duke is OFA certified for hips, elbows and shoulders with ratings of "Excellent."
