Little Miss Dixie

 

Dixie is our smallest dog.  Weighing only 55lbs, she is very agile and compact.  She is obedient, alert and even-tempered.  Dixie can run, swim, and jump better than any of our other dogs.  She is also a good retriever in the field.  Dixie loves the gun, and is very good in retrieving birds on the ground and in the water.  Because of the way she launches herself into the water, we often refer to her as "spring loaded".  Puppies from this little girl will be great waterdogs.

Duke and Dixie are expecting a litter in February, 2009.
